Licensing authority: Local jurisdictions (no statewide electrician license)

Pennsylvania does not issue a statewide electrician license. Licensing is handled at the municipal or county level. Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and other major cities have their own licensing requirements. Always verify credentials with the local licensing authority for the project location.
